I use my E.l.f. cream and sugar palette so much, so thank you so much for recommending it so often. I usually do my crease and outer v with it and then top it with a special multichrome shade to match my outfit. It's so complementary to my skin tone (almost exactly like yours and oily too!), and it's one of those I may have to buy a backup of.

Drugstore makeup has gotten so good over the past few years that I’m amazed that people are still wasting their money on the luxury brands. I really believe it has more to do with ego and “bragging” rights. Do they have such low self opinions that they have to be propped up with luxury brands? I’ve seen this for years with clothing, especially clothes where the trademark logo is prominently placed for all to see. The company get a free billboard and the consumer gets a higher price. I’m starting to unsubscribe from creators who review too much in the way of high end brands. They started out drugstore, but once the high end PR kicked in, the creator fell down that rabbit hole. Thank you, Zabrena, for keeping it real.

When you did the swatches I was worried they would be drier than the tarte but omg these drugstore dupes way out perform the sculpt tape and look less shiny 🤩 I haven’t tried a cream bronzer yet so I might have to try them now 💗

I got a gift card for Christmas and held onto it because I knew brands liked to come out with new stuff at the beginning of the year. I happily ordered the Tarte product even though I own the Charlotte Tilbury because I’m not that big of a fan of that particular formula. Never been happier to have a gift card 😂

omg I'm late to the game didn't even know revlon made one that's even easier for me to get hold of I can just walk in to a shop and get with all tarte products in the uk it's all sold through q v c which is murder they don't tell you if items are out of stock they just don't charge you and not send with no mention they just pass it over I have had a few run it's with them last year thankyou for this xx

The Revlon looked the best to me, especially after the wear time check in. I tried a new contour today, Ulta Beauty Contour Stick, it was Dislike at first swipe. I love the shade, hate the consistency of the product and how it applied. Moving on.

I got the Milani wand and a Fenty matchstick contour stick with an Ulta gift card I got for Christmas. I love the Fenty one so much that I haven’t even opened the Milani one!! Thank you for reminding me that I have it😂!!! I never would have spent the money on the Fenty one even though I’ve wanted it forever! Thanks to my beautiful daughter for gifting me with the Ulta card!!! I’m a cheap makeup girl 😂😂

I wonder if the Milani shade 02 Ginger would be a match color-wise to the Tarte without the luminosity. Or does upping 1 shade change it to more cool or warm? It looked like you had to apply more in amount in shade 01 honey.

Great video. In my experience, Tarte face products are very much hit or miss. I prefer to use a powder contour if I decide to use one. It’s easier to not add too much in my experience. I have more mature dry skin for reference.

Hi Nia! I use the elf powder contour palette or the too faced coco contour palette. I also prep around my nose (dry mature skin for me) with a touch of eye cream after my serums. Another good trick is to use a cool toned hydrating concealer in a slightly darker shade as your contour. I also skip contour and just use my bronzer if I’m looking for a more natural look.
