When I was 8 years old, (back in the '70s - I'm a dinosaur 🦕) my Uncle bought me a copy of the Good Housekeeping Junior cookbook. It was my very first. It led to a love of cooking I've kept all my life. I've even catered friends weddings. It all started with "helping" stir biscuit dough, and that cookbook! Never underestimate which seeds you scatter will take root in your kids. Even if Jett never graduates beyond PB&J, he will always remember Mama loved him and spent time with him! 💖 Thanks for helping me look better! All the best in the new year! BTW, Revlon has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection, but are not planning to shut down.

Zabrena I’ve been watching you for years, and I’m 43 with of course, “mature” skin. One find this year that cannot recommend enough of is the Kaja Don’t Settle Concealer. I don’t know if you’d consider that drugstore or not, but you can get it on Amazon with prime shipping. I tried the shade Banana Milk and it is INCREDIBLE! A little goes a loooong way, covers dark circles, great for any skin type but especially those of us who are in our 40’s and beyond. Because of the thin but opaque formula, it doesn’t settle into my undereye creases (as the name suggests) and is never cakey, even when using a bit of powder to set it. That would be my TOP PICK of 2022 makeup finds! I love your videos & how you collaborate with your audience, your faith, your welcoming nature and knowledge in your videos! I love drugstore December! I have used the Neutrogena hydroboost forever! I'm in my mid 40's and it is the only foundation that I can wear. It looks like my skin but better. I have tried all kinds of foundations and you can tell that I'm wearing makeup. But that has been my go to for 3 years now.

I love that you brought in the fact of bringing the kids in the kitchen. Because I raise six kids and five were in 7 1/2 years three were within 27 months back in the day we had no choice but we brought kids in the kitchen and they helped sure it made a mess but we enjoyed the time to clean up the conversation even if it was mumbo-jumbo but we didn’t have social media. My grandkids I bring in the kitchen. And my oldest daughter is amazed that I let you in for year olds help me cook they love it they’re careful they’re fine they’ll learn just like they learned thank you for sharing with us about your family and your values

I think the luminosity in the revlon powder is bismuth oxychloride, as it’s the second ingredient. I’m stating this because there may be others who have sensitivities to it, like I do. It’s a known irritant. For me, it feels like tiny shards of glass are trying to wriggle into my pores. It’s the ingredient that kept me from using bareminerals original loose powder foundation. Discovered my skin’s reactiveness to it decades ago, when bareminerals had a shop in almost every mall.
