You can’t even critique Mason too much for getting clipped those two times. He had his guard up both times but boxing is a game of inches and those were two well placed punches delivered by a seasoned power puncher. He just needs to keep that chin glued to his chest.

I agree Champ, Mason's knockdowns were a product of getting a little too ahead of himself, he even said after the fight he knew about his opponents power he just got overzealous once under the lights. Patience, better distance management and defensive footwork should be on his new years resolution list. Loved his response to touching the canvas physically and mentally. No Bambi legs and he Stayed determined.

Here’s the problem with the sport, how is Keyshawn vs. Tank 2-3 years away? Keyshawn could fight Berincyk for the belt next. Lomachenko is vacating to retire. That’s two belts Keyshawn could see next on the top rank side, atleast one belt. So why is a unification between the 2 not late 2025? It’s because we allow these guys to pick their own opponents and put off fighting the best and other champs in their weight class. Stop paying for it people!
