Technically that would not be a true restoration. Tho it is a nice tractor, a restoration means that something is restored back to its original condition. Obviously this tractor wasn’t put back to original. Still, they did a very nice job.

Cool you actually showed the cost. B.S. channels would say. “Look, all my hard work really paid off” and “See, you can do this too” well you can but it’s going to cost you. Nice tractor. Respect.

You know, despite the cost that is better looking, more useful, and just generally awesome than a modern lawn "tractor" is. More bang for the dollar here. It also looks sweet as can be. Great job gang on a great restoration.

Back in the seventies we had a Sears tractor like that one. We plowed the snow off our pond for ice skating with it. We also had a garden plow and Harrow on the back. Great job to the whole group that did the restoration. Slippers, you might wanna enter that in a garden tractor show.

This KZbin channel has made me really start respecting my lawnmower more. I have an old 2007 cub cadet LT 1046 with a KHROLER 23 hp engine which I almost scraped because of an oil leak from the main rear seal. But then I watched Taryl’s video on how to change out seals and it helped me save hundreds of dollars from buying a new lawnmower. Great work guys!

Well, I'm jealous too. Only thing that bugged me from the day you did it was the placement of those $70 dollar decals. This restore reminds me of car guys pourin so much money into their vehicles. You never get your money out of it, but if you love it, that tractor is priceless. And that is what really matters. Slippers, when you pass away from old age in a year or two, hopefully you can find someone who really appreciates this tractor to will it to. ...I'll message you with my contact information. ;)

Hello taryl, sir I need to send a big thank you for the lessons you have shared with me as you know south Texas ran into a nasty freeze, I had 5 neighbors come to me in the height of the freeze with generators that quit or wouldn't start 3 of them including myself have an elderly parent my mom just came home from a broken hip surgery she's 83 years young, this past Tuesday she got so cold she turned blue it was very scary taryl I cant thank you enough for showing the lessons in real time you gave me confidence that I could do it , after all it isnt the space shuttle, you sir unknowingly helped save lives this past week ,again thank you taryl, junior ,slippers and of course Mr fire it up elkskins! BTW maybe slippers will let you show him how to do a proper burnout and a donut on his little red riding hood machine!God bless you and your family!

I rode in the back of my dads new 1969 f -100 to Sears Roebuck and brought one home new it was a 10 hp tecumsee white hood red frame 3 fwd 1 reverse pot metal deck. We had it until the 80’s you had to reach down on the deck and pull a lever on a box to engage blades. It was built very well but old school.
