Pitfall! was a game released for the Atari 2600. In it, you play as an explorer named Pitfall Harry. As you travel through the jungle, your goal is to collect all 32 treasures hidden throughout the world within the time limit the game gives you (which is 20 minutes). You also have only 3 lives while exploring the game, and touching an enemy or falling into a tarpit or water will cost you a life. If you die three times, it's game over for Pitfall Harry, and the game offers no continues.
Lobsterzelda (tasvideos.org/...) collects all 32 treasures in record time.

And to think, tool assisted run nearly flawless is done in 18 minutes, they gave normal people 20 minutes to complete this task. they were not playing around lol

The title says 18:11.2 but that is the time of the video. He actually finishes it with 1:55 left, so it was only 18:05. The best I could ever do as a regular player (non-TAS) was finish with about :17 seconds remaining, so about 19:43.

If every treasure is worth a multiple of 1000 points, why bother with the "000"? Just divide the point values by 1000.

so wait, the game gives you 20 minutes to find all the treasures, and the tas can only do it in just over 18, that means a regular player to find all the treasure really has to haul butt and not make mistakes, I can see what kept people playing this.

Think about this..a frame perfect TAS still needed 18+ minutes to finish this game.. means if you wasted more than a single minute it'd be impossible to win in the game and you'd be basically wasting your time.
