He moved really fast because he took several times the boost the moving platform gives you , this insane speed makes that during one frame he is on the left of this red "spikes" and the frame after he is on their right so he doesn't technically toutch them and so that's why he didn't die.

KDT and Kilaye worked mainly on Ch6, not sure if they tried it out or not. I can test it out later.

Did you time going in and out of the loading zone at 5:30 to change the respawn point, then retrying after talking to Oshiro?

Shouldn't need to time it, going through a transition takes 40f and retrying takes 120f, 40+40+120 = 200f = 3.33 seconds, it only takes 2 seconds to get back to that transition from Oshiro

Seems like almost 3 seconds to get back, but still slower if those numbers are correct. Would only save time for an IL on an older version where retries don't count towards the level timer I guess

Aymeric Getin yes, but he loose time because in TAS the timer is determinated by the numbers of frames since the game begin, so the time between chapter have to be counted in tas (i think)

Climbing Celeste Mountain, which is a metaphor for overcoming personal faults like anxiety. The cutscenes count on the timer so speedrunners skip them to save on time, at the expense of the story
