Big thanks to TASVideos for accepting my submission. This is my first TAS and learning the process was a lot of fun. Shout outs to the folks in the Castlevania speedruns Discord for info they shared and feedback along the way.

Wow, this takes me back. The speed might not look very fast to anyone who hasn't played the game, but anyone who's actually played it knows how fast this really is.

This game came out in '97?! Jesus H, the same year as FF7? Very wild to think about. Thanks for the upload.

Yeah! After Pokémon Red/Blue the original gameboy have more life with late releases. Pokémon Yellow came in 1999! In this year we already have the us Dreamcast launch!

Yeah, it kinda feels like a rushed cash grab considering Belmont's Revenge came out in 1991 and is a much better game in almost every aspect. In 1997, we already had Turok and Golden Eye on N64.

Is it just me, or is her hair longer in the ending cutscene than the actual gameplay?

Maybe she tied it up in a ponytail.

The character's movement speed is ludicrously slow and I feel like that alone would make this unbearable to play. This is some damn impressive music by GB standards, at least.

Just as slow as the first Castlevania on Game Boy.

It would’ve been cool to have a female Belmont but this game didn’t fit in the story line at all

Imagine a Trap Room% category where you have to do all of those once.

@@ManInTheMask1000Wait, those are actually beatable?
@ManInTheMask10003 ай бұрын
@@jonespianist3189, yup! See, the idea is that you gotta beat all the enemies that spawn. Eventually, there's a way to get out if the game doesn't automatically do it for you.
@ManInTheMask10003 ай бұрын
@@jonespianist3189, yup! All you need to do is beat all the enemies, then the game eventually gives you a way out, assuming it doesn't do so on its own already. Trust me, I don't blame anyone for thinking you were flat-out stuck in those things.
