Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 is a platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It is an enhanced remake of the Nintendo Entertainment System video game Super Mario Bros. 3, and is based on the remake found in Super Mario All-Stars for the Super NES.
It contains several enhancements, including the addition of Mario and Luigi's voices by Charles Martinet, a multiplayer mode based on the original arcade game Mario Bros and the ability to scan e-Cards, utilizing two Game Boy Advances, the e-Reader, and a copy of Super Mario Advance 4. Once a card is scanned, it adds certain content to the game.
JeyKey_55 beats every level in the game in record time. For an "all levels" run of the NES game, see this TAS by Lord Tom & Tompa (tasvideos.org/2835M.html).
Note that this run plays the original European release for the GBA, the e-Reader levels were not present in that version. If you want to see all the e-Reader levels beaten, we have such a movie as well (tasvideos.org/3711M.html).

Fun fact, the "moonwalk run" thing he's doing can be easily accomplished by holding left and right simultaneously. You need an emulator to do that, since you can't hold left+right at the same time on a real D pad. The game never expects simultaneous left+right inputs, so it doesn't know which direction to move Mario, and sends him flying to the right at an insane speed as a result. This inhuman speed also allows Mario to jump higher than ever before.

Disassemble a PC-connectible PlayStation controller, then cut off the diagonal cross-section where the 4 d-pad button is, and you can press left and right at the same time. Pretty neat trick to try out!

Since this version of the game. lol You were probably thinking of the SNES version where if he went too fast he would only have a standing height jump.

@@exxor9108 I was thinking of practically any other 2D Mario game (including both the NES and SNES versions of this game) where Mario's running jump was limited to around 5 blocks high, or 6 blocks with a special jump like when you have p-speed in Mario 3 or triple jump in the NSMB games.

That is an trick allows you to go fast. You can even fly with the cape or the leaf power-up with this trick. Just keep holding the left and right button,not L & R.
