Despite being an early game for the console, it still remains one of best (for me) looking game for the console. It doesn't heavily relies on dithering or "grainy" graphics like almost every Genesis/Megadrive games does. This game really used the limited color palette of the console in the best way.

i remember this was one of my first genesis games. An awesome game if you ask me. better than mario in every aspect. everything, the graphics, the level desing, the playability, and on top of everything, the music, really well ambientated, and the last boss' one, which is my favorite, is really hardcore. They could have done the last boss a little harder tough. The quality makes it obvious it was made in japan, even though disney is from usa.

7 gems (Those gems must be Chaos Emeralds in disguise!) Must be a secret connection between Disney and SEGA! Now I see where the whole idea of Sonic came about. Probably Oshima-san was clearly inspired by Mickey and thus Sonic was born. Must be the face and the white gloves.

@GangsterCallejero01 Sorry, seems I was too subtle. CoI came out in Nov 1990, Sonic didn't come out until Jun 1991. The first Sonic game where there were 7 emeralds (as opposed to 6) didn't come out until Nov 1992. And the first Sonic game where they were the "diamond" shape seen in this game didn't come out until Oct 1994 (before then, they were a hexagonal emerald cut). So unless Disney have a time machine, probably not a copy. And even if Sonic came out first, it would be quite a stretch.

This is not done by a human its a TAS tool assisted speedrun. It's not cheating tho because it doesn't compete with actual human speedruns it just shows what a better or even perfect run could look like.

TAS stands for Tool Assisted Speedrun. The tools being emulators and the ability to slow time down to a single frame if need be, as well as rewinds and scripting and stuff. It's all very complicated but basically all about pushing the game to it's very limits far beyond what a human can do on their own.
