Why are the spikes at 6:52 gone? Edit: For those curious, it's because the TAS skips the trigger that enables the hot fire mode, which means none of the lava is gonna be there

it's a bit more complicated than that, she needs to fall off the left side first and then hyper in coyote time. this means you start the hyper from slightly below the ground, allowing for landing sooner and also rubbing up against the wall for a frame or two if needed to land in less ground space

@@endorianysm3608 Coyote time = every time you walk or dash off of a platform, you get a few coyote frames during which the game considers you to be on the ground. This allows you to jump, or in this case perform a hyper, in mid-air. Madeline also starts the hyper a little bit below the height of the platform, allowing for a more favorable angle (and "bumping into" the wall a little bit) to land on the platform in time to get a jump off of it. (I'm not a TASer, just an rta runner. Might've made a small mistake somewhere.)
