It's been a while since I last saw your video 6 months ago. And considering you're doing Mario Party 5 (one of my all time favorite Mario Party video games in the world), it's interesting to see what you do here (But I do know you'll be doing the same thing that you did with pirate dream and such).

These are always so much fun. Thank you for doing this; it's a ton of work. I have a couple of questions though! How much do you plan these routes before starting, and how much do you make up as you go? Do you have the entire route and work to manipulate that to happen, or do you take what the game gives you? How long does it take you to make these? I'd assume weeks, if not months.

Before I start making one of these I download an image showing the full board, I mark down where each star space is and research what each happening space does. I then fully plan out the first few turns and if it seems like a good route I start working on it. I sometimes have to change my plan a bit while making the TAS if something doesn't end up working the way I thought it would or I end up figuring out an even better idea which often ends up being the case. So it's a mix of planning and making it up as I go on. Making these usually takes me around 3 to 5 days on average depending on how long I spend each day working on them.

Yeah, I usually end up spending most of my free time working on these whenever I make a new TAS. It's also why I often go months without uploading since I don't want to burn myself out. I get way into it and can easily spend like 6 hours a day working on a TAS.

Why do you always pause the game after every single roll? It gets kinda annoying, but great video nonetheless

RNG Manipulation. Basicly computers cant be truly random. Imagine a timer going crazy fast with certain numbers rolled being your outcome. Pausing freezes the timer and you can manipulate the outcome this way.
