I really don't think these two games were that bad. They were poorly received and looking back, they aren't especially resilient offerings on the Castlevania throne, but they were trying something new. I appreciate them for what they are, and the story they told.

13:35 to 21:42, Castlevania: Those damned Demon Doors! All those doors that had to be opened. Even with the bad camera plaguing the C64 series, I still defended it. From time to time, it showed almost a glint of what it could have been, if it had been possibly handled in a different way, and yet all those doors just give me indigestion. The PS2 3D 'Vanias were good though.

Chris R TAS does not mean a bot is playing, it usually corresponds to a player using the emulator to play the game frame by frame, and use save states.

You are wrong! TAS by ChristianF23, uses Castlevania 64 and not legacy of darkness. He uses Carrie, who have a double jump and Tower of sorcery is different, so it's not a good comparison. If you want more informations, I published an explanation text with this run on TASvideos.org . But confusion is normal with these 2 "mirror" games ;)
