[EDIT] And I just remembered that this hack is a Japan-made one too, which explains how crazy it is, so I'm heavily suspecting this thing about "introduce gimmicks or level bad" is a western thing and western thing only... This is why I always stick to Japan media. They're not afraid to make anything as crazy and as fun as can be, like the 80s and 90s all over again. (Parodius anyone?)

There are feelings of satisfaction when watching the Rush Cannon kill on Pharaoh Man on 14:13 1. the second cycle of the boss music didn't even progress as poor Pharaoh Man caught in the indirect explosion leftover. 2. the second phase of his fight is completely skipped, and the floor of the top of the pyramid isn't completely destroyed. 3. The balloon floating for the animation skip. All of them are full of win.

It's times like this that I wish for a TAS of the most recent version of the same category. Not because of it simply being an updated version (I'd rather prefer if TAS'es use same version unless the run is glitchless or have features unique to that version, especially if the new versions remove significant time-saving skips and/or glitches... staring at you, Cossack 1, for example), but to serve as a comparison between the fastest and the recent versions. Of course, speaking generally, this is assuming that the fastest AND recent versions are not one in the same; otherwise, the matter is moot. At any rate, what we have now is a quality TAS, and very entertaining. I'm just curious to see how this game would change as a tool-assisted run if we end up having a 100pt Hero Score run with the recent version of Minus Infinity opposed to this version which is the fastest. You know, I'm a bit intrigued to see that one day.

"Friends" is based on whether Rush, Beat, and Eddie survive the events of the game: 5 points for each. Since saving rush and beat doesn't count as items, and an item is locked behind sucking up Eddie with Recycle Inhale, it gets a 0.

Skull Barrier is hard to use with levels of precision like this and Rush Cannon is ridiculous to hit with. Bosses use an entire new attack pattern to avoid being hit by it. For example, Toad Man clings to the ceiling as fast as possible and sits there. Overall this hack is incredibly balanced and I love it.

My guess is they fell into the spikes, killing them, but this phase transition with Square Machine has to move forward. If it hits Mega Man while jolting forward it knocks him back, and it seems like the game completely forgets that Mega Man is dead when Square Machine hits where his body used to be. It launches Mega Man to the back like usual.
