Side Pocket is a billiards video game that has been ported to various systems, one of them being the NES. Win your way up the ranks by playing national pool as you go from city chump to world-class hustler. Get enough points when playing on a table and you move on to the next one.
ShesChardcore ( tasvideos.org/... ) rigorously plays through the game and uses most optimal solutions found for each table in order to beat the game as fast as possible.

There's more levels if the trick shots are not completed. edit: The goal is to be world champ, and trick shots are how you get promoted. After earning a certain amount of points you gain the chance to rank up. If you don't reach the points threshold, you have to play the next stage without a trickshot chance until you reach the points required. If you fail the trickshot, you need to beat the next stage to get another chance.
