Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is the seventh installment of the Mortal Kombat franchise. The story centers around brothers Taven and Daegon, who are frozen in rock due to a foreseen cataclysmic event from their parents Delia and Argus. Once awaken, they are set off to deal with the cataclysmic event and prevent the world from being destroyed.
SJ ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/SJ ) completes Konquest mode in record time. It should be noted that the Wii version of this game does not have skippable cutscenes, which is why the run is much longer than some speedruns done on the PS2 version.

Hey guys i would like to say this is my Best Project TAS i ever made. i would like to tell you guys the story of this of how this tas is made. So 7 Months ago i started Glitch Hunting by myself in Konquest Mode, also this way much harder to glitch than Deception Konquest Mode. i can't believe i did everything on my own. So ever since i started Tasing Armageddon Konquest Mode i have to redo the TAS 7 TIMES mostly because Dolphin Emulator has been having problems. The Main problem i had is Change Disc Error i was confused myself i cant find a way to fix it and good thing i asked for help in the TAS Community and they told me i can't have gamecube controller and Wii Remote connected together and i have to start over AGAIN for thr 8th TIME. So this time i did it wiiremote with a classic controller and it worked out. So think of this TAS is 7 Months of hard work i put into this. I remember when i found my first glitch in konquest mode i was already passionate about the game and started doing glitch hunting.

Weapon Cancel Glitch 11:25 Tekuninwarship Chest Skip: 19:35 Articka Ice Beast Chest Skip: 24:42 After you defeat the ice beast usually a chest spawns but what you can do is hold the block button and roll to gate so the chest won't spawn. Lin Kuei Palace Frost Chest Skip: 39:30 Once you break the very big ice usually a chest spawns but what you need to do is roll so that way the chest won't spawn. Red Dragon Caverns The Very First Cutscene Skip in Armageddon History The Kano Cutscene Skip: 1:00:20 Shinnok Spire Chest Skip: 1:14:53 i use teleport so the chest won't spawn. Edenia Chest Skip: 1:46:09 Bruh this Skips about 5 Chest that spawns. So about the last chest skip in Edenia there is some very big risk of doing it because there 2 things that can happen. 1. once you teleport you will be invisible and cannot move so you have to start over the skull boss fight 2: You can Move your character but the camera is stuck in one place or maybe is stuck somewhere idk.

In fact, the PS2 and XBOX version don't have skippable scenes until you finish conquest mode for the first time.

Because Neatherrealm is more focused on creating an ESport nowadays, which is fair, but I really would love to see more games with fun stuff like the Konquest or Kreate a fighter.

the main reason why i pause a lot because its help with movement for example if you roll with taven he automatically stop rolling so that way i get through tight corners and a better exmaple is the death traps in the temple of argus because without pause canceling i would die in that death trap. for attacking taven's most powerful basic attack is kicking mostly because it does a lot of damage. if you combine it with pause canceling you will able to kick very fast and kill the enemy fast

i also forgot to say one more thing about pause canceling, once you get hit by the enemy that has a knockback attack if you get hit, you use pause cancel to stop the knockback best example is Shao Kahn Fortress where the part taven have to fight the big Shao Kahn Statue. When the Shao Kahn Statue does a attack that slams on the ground usually taven flies very far if you get hit by the attack and you press pause you can stop yourself from flying very far if i explained it better

yes you can but not in this mode, i have TASed with the kreate a fighter in endurance and even made speedruns myself
