"Evil Raiden" is a fairly common misconception. He's not or was ever "Evil", he was just "corrupted" which besides making him a bad ass, also unfortunately made him tunnel visioned, switching from being patient and comprehensive to full on attack mode with no mercy for those who defy and threaten earthrealm, also making him pretty careless in alot of aspects. Do you remember when Raiden tried to make an alliance with Quan Chi in MK9? Technically, he wasn't Dark Raiden at the time. But he revealed some disturbing tendencies. In my opinion, Raiden is an idealist with obvious fanatical tendencies. ⚡⚡⚡

Kronika was an idiot. She claim that she begun the timeline wipe because the balance of good and evil was screwed with Shinnok's death. She fails to see that if she just let's Raiden do his thing with the amulet's influence. Raiden could easily fill the void of evil in the universe. Instead she wiped evil Raiden off the timeline and resets the timeline basically bringing the good Raiden back. Basically the whole story about the balance of good and evil was just a lie from her mouth. Basically she was just mad that Shinnok got rekt and that was it. For a supposedly all powerful God, Kronika was hilariously petty.

Basically in the old timeline Dark Raiden help Shao Kahn defeat Onaga since Shao Kahn was basically still weaker than him & help him get to the pyramid where Undead Liu Kang regained his soul & basically fought Raiden (MK 11 Raiden flashback) for the biggest mistake he was about to make which lead to the reset.

Dark Raiden's approach was preemptive action against immediate threats. SInce Elder Gods are only good for consulting and even then barely, they'd be off his radar for a looong time.

@@accelriderx2931 The Elder Gods role is to guide and bless the realms in Mortal Kombat. They give also advice to those people who are worthy of their call. But they aren't allowed to intervene in any Mortal Doings it is because that is not their principle. One of the reason why Shinnok was Evicted because he somehow made an alliance ( not sure ) with Quan Chi secretly.
