It is. If you level up the Blade to level 2 it immediately de-levels it again, and any experience points you gain for it eventually drain away, making it impossible to get a level 3 Blade and effectively making it just a normal sword while it's in your possession.

Yes please. ^_^ Although I'm so confused with how to obtain the Good Ending in terms of who and what I need to talk to/find and who/what I need to avoid... can someone clarify this for me? I'm aware that, canonically, it's impossible to save Toroko. I am also aware that Curly, Professor Booster( and wasn't there another main NPC?) can either be saved or killed, depending on finding and avoiding certain items and people before certain points in the plot. I've read the wiki, but the amount of detail required to get the ending is discouraging, and only made things even more confusing... T_T

six years late, but supposedly you need to speed to the sand zone in under 30 minutes and shoot a secret block near the entrance of the teleporter like in 22:00 or so, moving on from there you need to keep the dog from near the warehouse on you without talking to jenka since it's able to predict the future and distract balrog and misery before they forcefeed toroko after that you just snag the medicine, give it to booster and play onward

Oh I missed one ending: Mimiga Ending: Pretty much like the normal ending, but without the Booster v.2.0 and with the Mimiga mask. To get this ending, you shouldn't talk to Momorin Sakamoto after finishing the rocket.

After watching Nitjusa's tas, this is kinda a paint to watch, tbh... still good though, just could be a little quicker. for one, damage boosting is a thing, not to mention you can open your inventory to damage boost yourself vertically twice at chaco's shack to skip the need for a third encounter with queenie over in grasslands...

+astigmatify It can only be done over in sand zone, with the crocodile enemy. It's damage box is smaller than it's collision box, but the difference is only a few pixels, if more than a single pixel... It's so satisfying to watch someone successfully do a boost off of it!

there's also a trick where you can vertically boost off of bats in grasstown twice in a row by pausing. It's a sequence break that allows you to only have to kill the queen jellyfish twice, using one jelly to grab the fireball, and an extra jelly for the bomb.

This is mods OLD Cave Story. But Cave Story+ on PC or other console are normal but don't have secret passage and there have 4 endings without mods. But mods have extra ending about "sad ending" for all mimiga are dead but "happy ending" for all mimiga are alive but who made mods. I may remake soon on TAP and no mods with Cave Story+ version and find all endings soon.

Yeah, you need to say no to balrog fighting first time, no to saving sue in egg zone, and no to ( shoot I forgot ) someone else. As well as getting from The first fight with Balrog ( but don’t actually fight him ) to that block above the tele in 14:00. At least in CS+. I’m not really good at explaining, but there is a tutorial on KZbin about it, the guy made two videos, one as a tutorial, and one to prove it’s real in the normal game. I recommend you watch both

While you are really good, this is fake, if you look at 45:37 you see that his dagger has some XP, but it mysteriously vanished by 45:40. This means that there are parts edited out (AKA damage taken). At least try to hide it better......... EDIT:Looking at the rest of it, I actually think it was done by a computer

When you see professor booster fall down from the labyrinth, do NOT go down and talk to him. Instead, jump to the other side when you are on the red mark. When you reach the core, don't start the fight yet. Go towards the core, you'll see something glowing on the floor. Grab the tow rope and finish the core. When you woke up, find curly and attach the rope to her. In the waterway, you will see a door. Go in there, rest there. Read the text on the computer. Then the bookshelf. Then curly. Take curly with you when you get out of the room.

Here you go: cavestory.wikia.com/wiki/Endings Scroll down to the defeating Ballos section and follow those steps (you may have to swap to a few different links). Also, to save booster you have to ditch him when you first see him fall, then he'll show up later instead of dying on the spot. After you save her and do all this other stuff like fixing her memory, you have to beat the game, then, with the health you have left; go through a suuupppeeerrr hard platforming dungeon and enemy waves insanity then fight the hardest boss in the game. I recommend getting every health item and saving the extra health potion from the granny. (But on the plus side, the real good ending has much better writing :D) Best of luck, you mat want to train first.

Yeah it’s on wii, but it’s a little glitchy. Most people don’t think the 4th ending is real, but it is. Check out some tutorials on KZbin. The first part of the 4th ending is pretty hard tho
