And the worst death is the death of Black (paleskinned woman w/ rocket launcher and mech hands) - by the point in the story when you meet her - she is just a loyal soldier who got betrayed by her troops and lost anyone she cared about and her commanders, completely succumbed to pain and despair - she tries to stop you from hijacking the rocket not because of some higher cause or any special reason - she just doesn't have anything else left except this last order and basically wants this to end. Fighting and killing her feels just wrong at this point and more like asisting in suicide.

Ghostel3591 don’t forget she was suffering way before she and Robin fought. Her transcendence melted her arms leaving her with these metal prosthetics that are so heavy that they cause her pain. But the absolute worse is that she’s left with an eternal headache that flares up at loud noises. Which explains her habit of tapping her head. It’s cause of this and everything else that she went mad by the end.

though I don't know much of the game, I can tell that some of the bosses, like Agent Black, were ridiculed for a "higher" Purpose. She was "made" to serve. Anyone's existence would be shitty being an object. Killing her seemed to be, in all forms, the worst choice, but to her, it stopped all her suffering. I sympathize with her.

I fucking love the final battle. Think about it. It's the emotional climax of the game; when everyone is going to die because the world is gonna end. The only hope is asking "God" for help. After God manipulates psychologically and emotionally the protagonist with ilusions of her family and her inner demons, the fact that the all-powerful being that everyone fears and respect is just some random pissed off alien bird guy that we never saw/know that controls the Starworm as a ship is so fucking creative,meaningful and hilarious.

If that doesn’t make you feel sympathetic towards the bad guy who constantly tried to take you down while the system she’s part of is slowly falling apart I don’t know what is. Man, this game has REALLY good boss fights. A few of them are more frustrating than they need to be, but otherwise it's pretty awesome. Especially with Agent Black, who you know fine well has a pretty big grudge against your family, and her character arc is more about her getting more and more intense than anything else...especially the part where you just have to get the lift working again to escape from her for a while, and she's running at you full force, throwing punches, firing rockets everywhere and tearing up floor panels like they're nothing just to get at you, and then the fight afterwards where she keeps desperately regenerating and coming after you even as branches are sprouting from her back....and even that isn't enough to put her down for good. Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 could learn a thing or two from her.

While the plot of this game kind of got away from me at times, I'm always gonna remember it for its great variety of boss fights; especially how so many of them tied in with characters, either by having you fight people you had known for a while, or involving other people like Royal in the fight and having dialogue running as blows were traded. 58:25 was a pretty memorable moment.

Apparently according to Joakim "Konjak" Sandberg(the creator of this game) the birdman's canon name is "Lucas Birbasaurus Rex". That's a hilarious detail that unfortunately isn't shown in-game and the name makes sense as it's first name is Lucas which means "Light bringer"(referencing it's status as the 'god' of their religion), then the middle name of Birbasaurus being a cross between Birb(a memey version of bird) and saurus meaning lizard which goes into it's last name of "Rex"(referencing a Tyrannosaurus rex) which is Latin for king. His name means king of the birb-lizard lightbringers. Weird, but funny and makes sense for the situation.

The magic of this game is that is literally the best games of 2018 when it's unappreciated well sure this game (especially the sales and switch version) sold over 1 million copies world wide but the thing is there's plenty of games who gained 1 million copies but games like Cuphead Celeste Undertale octopath traveler and horizon games iconoclasts only sold 1 million copies in 2 years and is still slept on while these games i mentioned gathers 2 million copies world wide in months and was hella popular Which is why iconoclasts is still slept on is just a woman in the mesopotamia in the post apocalyptic world ruled by robo animals a cartoon cup a trans girl gaining courage and stuff our blonde mechanic girl never stood a chance (which is why I'm glad that this game gathered a large and loyal fandom legit a cult classic)

During the second encounter with Agent Black, it is possible to fire an electrified bomb right after you reveal the generators. This should charge up the generators *MUCH* faster.

Man, the entire sequence from confronting mother to escaping the moon was so harrowing that i acutally quit playing. I didn't pick it up again for at least a year. I had to grow intuition a different person before i could handle that story.

what i find kinda insane about this, is Robin is literally fighting an Alien Alternate of herself. A Crow-Creature, using a wrench and many of the very techniques *Robin herself* relied on to reach this point!
