[TAS] Peach's Fury in

Peach's Fury is a ROM Hack made by Kaze Emanuar, released in 2022. Amidst a single giant, sprawling level, you're tasked with collecting 25 stars after you got drunk and used all of Peach's money to buy pizza and pasta (Or so she says). Alongside Mario's usual bag of platforming tricks, he gets a few new mechanics including being able to dive out of a ground pound, and triple jump after a ground pound land. This TAS beats the current RTA WR at the time of video upload by over one minute, due to making a few sparse changes to the route and being as clean as a standard TAS would be (Despite the fact that a few parts look RTA). Additionally, even though the game running at 60FPS, it's actually still a 30FPS game mechanically, just with interpolation for animations and visual positions - it's as simple to TAS as the original game, after you re-find all the addresses for lua scripts and such. Key changes to the route include skipping the five coins at the start of the game (Swapping them with the five coins on the vine later in the level), using one less cloud earlier on to be able to get to the volcano star more quickly, and (very minorly) getting the coins near the Crawlspot star after the star itself instead of before. Key areas of time saved include faster Chuckya throws (At the expense of uncooperative coin RNG which made me ditch two of them), diving and jump kicking up the side of the windmill instead of going around to use the jump pad, grabbing the Bowser's Aircraft star from outside of the barrel (Due to the star's hitbox extending just barely outside of it), and getting a Double Star Spawn to occur with 100 Coins and the Goomba Star, among other miscellaneous improvements.
