4:43 there is a timesave for this event, but it's entirely rng dependent. I've had an experience where the giant dedede just killed itself right away by falling off the stage.

I had that with Yoshi in the event once back in Melee day. Just slipped off the stage all by himself and ended under 0.05 seconds. And yea, unfortunately that I no longer possess that record by now.

That is quite literally the point of the tas. I'm using Project Ms debug mode to switch character manually at the start of the event to do things faster
