When we need it the most, a complete TAS of chrono appears, excellent! great speedrun.

There is a secret in this church 12:02 when I had the tape I managed to talk to an npc who is trapped inside this statue, in the emulator I couldn't, but if you disable game sprites in the emulator you will see the spekio inside the magus statue , there's a way for you to battle him, I just don't know how to do it.

During a New Game+ run, I decided to genuinely try to beat Lavos during the cutscene fight, and aside from his buffed damage and HP, he's actually beatable. Sadly once you beat the shell, It kinda locks you into the ending as if you were beating him at the beginning of the new game+ run, so there's no secret ending for it. It was cool though beating the strongest form of Lavos when you weren't mostly intended to.

I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe that the amount of times characters' names are said isn't well more than enough to justify cutting them down to one letter. Because it is. And then the trial was full not guilty. This isn't even a speedrun, is it? More like a tool-assisted longplay.
@BlueInfinity22 Жыл бұрын
This TAS was done in 2013, I imagine routes and details are much more understood now. Just with how long TAS' take to make, and how TAS videos reject RPG completion TAS' these days (Chrono Trigger DS 100% was rejected for the Mountain section being too boring), I dont think anyone wants to update this run.
@dreamerofthorns Yes but TAS doesn't necessarily imply that you do EVERYTHING absolutely as fast and optimally as possible. it means you do the things presented in the recording with some amount of tool assistance. The amount of applied optimization is at the discretion of the author. Whether it's a Tool-Assisted "play around", "long-play", maximum score, etc. doesn't matter; it's still a TAS at the core. We don't need to label it so specifically. Call it a "Tool-Assisted Longplay" if you like. It can be any type or style of gameplay and still be called a TAS. The way I see it, it's all semantics. TAS is a family of game runs unrestricted by a limited definition of the word "Speedrun."
