Wait wait, what? A gaming charity marathon in my home town? I was introduced to puwexil via GDQ, and am so into this guy, but finding out 2 months late that I missed a quick chance to see some nerds get together and play video games that rock, just a hop skip and a jump away makes me sad-face. Hell, I'd have volunteered some of my free spare time to staff in the background (and give some really good local restaurant and hangout advice to our visitors) to fight some mental illness with joy, community, and gaming -- had I only but known. I have two family members with depression that require medication, and another that is bi-polar.

not based on the out rage i've seen... and they have a point, FF7 is not the same game it once was, its going to be very different from the original, and not like Resident Evil remakes where they change the locations and fix a few plot holes ect. now a remake akin to FF8 in a few days time... thats what i feel would work.

Chrono Trigger does need a HD treatment BUT i dont see it happening sadly... i am an avid FF14 player and would die of shock if we got a Chrono Trigger themed event/dungeon, they worked so many other games into FF14 lore why not Chrono Trigger? Lavos is threat that that Crono and co were never meant to beat, why not make him the thing that doomed the Ascians race?

Even though you never decided to try it, using 1 zerker against nizbel will usually garner extra time on your run when you use them for Flea and Slash. Yeah, nizbel takes about another minute, but you save more than that from using 2 zerkers in Magus' castle.

I've tested that a few times and haven't been able to save enough time on Flea/Slash with 2 Berserkers to make up for the slower Nizbel fight - I usually lost about 1:10-1:20 on Nizbel and gained about 0:40-0:50 on Flea/Slash (almost all on Slash, since the extra Stare counters & healing on Flea ate up a lot of the time from the higher DPS). If Ayla had Rollo Kick for Nizbel I could see 1 Zerk being closer to 2; but the problem is that the only decent TP grinding spot you have access to at that point is the Hunting Range (Nus are worth a lot of TP, but take a while to find/fight).

Caeshura and Essentia said it's a theory that Chrono's cat ticks the switch, but accounting that on one of the endings Chrono's cat(s) do hop into the time machine, it does make sense and fits (better than some random cat, in a random island inhabited by monsters, entering the ONE place where there are MORE monsters, to flip a switch). you know, the only thing that I don't like about these marathons, are the constant donation messages during the runs, the marathon is special moment where you get to hear and learn so much information about the game, the story, the lore, the mechanics etc. and it always seems like the commentators skip out on that to cut to donations. tl;dr I wish that during the run there was more talking about the game and fewer donations, and lots of donations in between runs.
