It’s just the “tilting over the edge” animation but angled weirdly and playing where it’s not supposed to. Probably the TAS input messed with how the game loaded the player animations or something.

Some bosses are annoying, battle of Sonic and Blaze is contradictory - as Sonic, Blaze was beaten; as Blaze, Sonic was beaten: I'd prefer if they were beaten by each other. I liked Special Stage theme. One big music - why music is so loud? My favourites are Leaf Storm, Water Palace, Night Carnival and Dead Line. At most part this game annoyed me, but when I've heard "The Epilogue" theme, I felt that was sad to leave this game.

Unfortunate that this is in Normal mode. Easy mode removes 2 hits needed from every boss and changes how the final boss attacks (although that one might be slightly slower?) That would probably cut a good bit of time.

I think people look back at it with a more critical eye because they can't help but see all the little annoyances that DIMPS (the developers) became known for. However, people who have played through the whole trilogy: Rush, Rush Adventure, and Colors DS; tend to agree that they were all really solid titles.

Amazing run, but not the best RNG. If you can manipulate the RNG, this run could be up to 5 minutes faster, maybe more. I've beaten the first boss in a minute and that's just one example!

Great job on the TAS! I do wonder one thing, though. You said to another comment entering the bosses at different times won't change the RNG the bosses give. Is it possible that dying on the boss early on deliberately might change their RNG to something more favourable? And in a all stories run, maybe possibly switching between stories to fight the bosses in different order could be an alternative method to attempt to change the RNG up? I have absolutely no knowledge I'm just spitballing potential options based on what little I've heard about the boss RNG.

I don't think that it's possible. As you see, my skill has grown from start to end, so it's many unoptimized on bosses due to a hard-coded algorithm of attack patterns, and Speedbreaker55 did has 6 hits, I did have 8. And I still don't know most part of all strats.
