The funniest part is that half of the speedrun was loading screens.

Awesome tas dude! The fire automaton was definitely my favorite area to watch. I popped off at the hit off of the fan.

Excluding geometry dash that has levels created by users, this is one of the hardest games in the world (talking in particular about the floating maps with the goals)

I never thought SMBA was *that* bad tbh... Outside of the key turning on the PS2 version, the sometimes broken camera when climbing stuff with Stickyball, and ALL OF MOONHAVEN'S OVERWORLD Oh yeah, the load times on the GC version are also sorta long, but I've played MySims a lot so these load time lengths don't bother me that much. They aren't as bad as some others I've seen. Makes me wish I had the GameCube version instead.

Nice one! I always thought the controls on this game were horribly awkward, especially on levels such as Freewheeler. Were you playing the PS2 or Gamecube version?
@areoants94535 жыл бұрын
Given the button prompts, I'd assume it to be the GameCube version! They've a good emulator that helps with TASing such a magnificent title.

Very very late to the party, but a dead giveaway for this being the GameCube version, aside from the button glyphs and "Licensed by Nintendo" appearing at the beginning, is that the PS2 version tried (very poorly) to mask load times with an awkward minigame where you'd rotate a crane by walking into it to open doors. Every single door had one, and you had to turn it every single time. It actually took _longer_ than just loading the levels normally if you weren't very good at doing it. The traditional loading screens are long, but they felt downright luxurious compared to having to deal with those cranes.
