Tail Concerto published by Bandai in 1998. Namco X Capcom published by Namco in 2005. Bandai and Namco only merged in 2006.

Not disappointed to find at least one Mega Man Legends-related comment here. 👍 Also, Waffle in Namco X Capcom would’ve been so cool to see had the merger happened in time, but I kinda doubt it would’ve happened anyway because Bandai thought that Tail Concerto was a financial flop.
