Agreed, Namco could have just given us a straight port to PS2. Instead, they improve the graphics- including giving full 3D stages among other additions.

I had to get the Mobile Version of this game to play it since in the arcade i was little itwas packed so all i cpuld do was Watch and Namco Never Released This Version of Tekken Tag so that was my only way to Play it

They probably didn't do it because they didn't have the time or thought that "Tekken Tag is already on the PS2, that one looks and plays better there's no need to do that.".

No, the arcade version is not included in Tekken 5, only up to Tekken 3 and a ship game.

I remember seeing Tag 1 arcade cabinets a few times when I was a kid, but I can't remember if I ever played the arcade version. 1:54 - 1:58 The damage in these old games never fails to terrify me. 2:44 Pretty sure that's Panda's actual playable game model just chilling in the background. Makes we wonder Panda will still be there if someone's using Panda on that stage. So Unknown's stage pretty much just True Ogre's, but blue. Didn't know that.

Huh... Not expecting the duo of Heihachi and Yoshimitsu, but their entrance was SUPER cool ✨ I know Yoshi's there bc Bryan's head of the opposing team, but I guess a Mishima gotta be present at all times in this sanctuary.... makes sense 😂💕
