One thing I always do in RE4 is: in the 2 paths section I always go for El Gigante path (for the treasure) and then I backtrack to Bella Sisters path for the other treasure. I always pick up the Old Key and never use it, so I'm stuck with it for the whole game. Unfortunately, of all things, the game deletes keys from your inventory when starting NG+.

Probably the longest game skip is during the castle underground mission (minecart section) where you must find the mark of lion item or whatever it's called to open the elevator door. That should saving at least half an hours or more depending on difficulty

I know what's going on, but if you play Assagament ADA and you use the mod to open all the doors and locks, then you can enter the church door on the right and then come out again, so you've entered Leon's script, you can enter the church and take Ashley, if you enter a scene you have to click select as quickly as possible. I've tried it on Aether SX
