When people think about Tekken normally the first thing that comes to mind is the characters and the music, but watching Wang fight through the tournament (while teabagging and defending at the same time, mind you) shows how much effort was put in the stages during Tekken's development. Not every stage seems to have these subtle details, but stages like Stadium have the fight from the player's perspective playing in the monitor in the background and Monument Valley has the sun setting as time progresses in the match. I think it shows that despite the developers trying to have a go at their own Virtua Fighter-style game, they also cared for such little details that can be easily missed, only to give a little more depth to the stages. It's a good reminder that it's not only the characters and music, but also the stages that can tell a story of their own. I can't help but respect this game's team.

YES YES YES!!! Ever since I first played Tekken 2 when I was 6, I always loved the stages. I'd go on road trips and look out the window to see skyscrapers in the metro area and think "Somewhere theres an epic battle between two warriors going on" lol. Shout out to Seichi Ishii too. People give him flack for The Bouncer and Ehrgheiz, but he was a architect for both Tekken and Virtua Fighter. R.I.P. Dream Factory

@@wksers_serks If you do a attack while someone does a grab at the right time. Both of your attacks will hit but it will count it as two grabs done by both of you. This will stop both of the supposed grabs and make you go back to normal position in a few frames since it's quick. After that you can do whatever attack you want as seen here.

I know that was the case for everyone, but Wang's character portrait looked rough, man. Hopkicks clearly had messed up hit boxes in this game. Okay, how plus on hit is Waning Moon and why did Wang switch sides when he landed df -1, 2 on Paul in that first round? 1:47-1:52 I think he might be trying to tell us something. Can't imagine what.

보면 볼수록 테크닉이 참 신기한게 많네요 ㅎㅎ 뒤로 가드하기, 뒤로 기술 쓰기, 초광속으로 경련 일으키기, 땅으로 살짝 내려가기(?), 잡기에 의한 동작 즉시 캔슬에, 이번엔 중립 상태에서 완전한 움직임 정지까지.... 스트리트 파이터 2에서 CPU가 가끔씩 시전하고는 했는데 그걸 철권에서 볼 줄은 몰랐습니다 ㅋㅋㅋ 플스판으로 어떻게 해보고 싶은데 아마도 일반적인 입력으론 도저히 불가능할 것 같네요. 잘 보고 갑니다 ^^

This game made it way too easy to do death combos. Happy that Tekken 2 added a lot to the gameplay and refined it too. Loved playing as him in Tekken 2. They improved him well. I loved his ending in Tag Tournament 2 where he broke the fourth wall along with Jinpachi. He's definitely underrated. If only there was more to him.
