Thanks for your tutorial. I didn't manage it quite as neatly as you without using the clips, but it works nonetheless. First battery converted to Deans. Thanks again mate :)

Getting into airsoft again, I’m a marine electrician myself and work with tons of special connections so I actually have nearly everything you have minus the helping hands but I’ll definitely invest in them. I know I’m years late but I hope you get a ton of new subs, I just subbed myself.

Can u make a tutorial on XT60 connectors?

Couldn't you alternatively just dremel out a little bit of the hole that the tamiya fit through to allow the deans to fit??

Hey, do you know what side of the tamiya is pos and neg?
@blakebilodeau60993 жыл бұрын
Since the tamiya connector only clips one direction, you can tell by the colors of the wires if you connect a battery to your gun. The wire connected to the red wire is positive, black being negative (ground).

putting the Dean connector to 'the gun' means putting the dean connector to the motors wiring , right?
@citizenjp46815 жыл бұрын
No, you put the connector where you connect your battery. The motor itself has different style connectors which are much smaller.

you could just buy a universal conecter and leave the original intact

The more connectors you have in line on a circuit the higher the resistance which could in turn lead to over heating motor or melted wires in your gear box
