How is the reverb effects on the tascam im really interested in getting one

Hey! I fave not really tested the reverb. I usually just record the audio clean with no added effects. I’m pretty sure it does sound good and I really like that it has a dedicated piano recording mode ☺️

iPhone definitely has muffled highs and the mids seem grainy. It sounded like you opened a high pass filter when you switched to the Tascam lol listening on 250ohm 770s

Yes I agree with you. It’s much better clarity from the X8. I will try to have it closer to the lid opening and see what results get later ☺️

iphone records audio much better when taking videos, did you use audio from video or from voice memo?

Hi, it would have been a very unnecessary process to make a video and then also try to use the voice memo app at the same time as I’m using the camera app. Not even sure that’s possible 😉😁

@@patentjohntran1283 No with a usb-cable directly to the iPhone but you also need a USB-A to lightning adapter to the phone. The Tascam X8 is also a usb-audio interface so this works well ☺️

@@patentjohntran1283 Yes it sure can. Most of the portable recorders from both Zoom and Tascam has this feature. That how you connect it to the computer also. But the X8 is maybe the most easy to use because it works automatically but with Zoom H5 for example you need to enter a setting to use it as a usb-interface ☺️
