tascam portastudio 7 - steve wallace

found an old tape from 1990 - just messing about on a tascam 4 track (cassette) - i was into the early genesis.
i've just bought a tascam dp02 - hope to use it better this time

hi, i have got one Portastudio 07, too. Is it possible (with a trick perhaps) to get all four tracks separated but simultaneously out of this machine?

I have found something interesting: dt7v1i9vyp3mf.cloudfront.net Its from this article: www.soundonsound.com/techniques/transferring-old-multitrack-projects-your-software-daw Someone has drilled four holes and put 4 cables into the machine, so that he can take the four tracks out. Its a portastudio 05 and I will ask the man who wrote the article, what they had done there exactly. Perhaps I can do it with my portastudio 07 . :)
