Tascam US 2x2HR Set Up by Newbie

Hello, I have a tascam US 1x2 interface, it does not connect to the PC, I have Win 10, the USB light blinks. I already reinstalled the drivers and nothing. What can I do? thank you

Sorry to hear that. Did you turn on the fathom power? That is critical.If the light is blinking, while it worked for me with the light blinking, one of the other commenters fixed it by using a better USB power cable. Is the mike being chosen by turning the knob? This was in the second video kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3uYqZxrhNWgm68 To see whether it works, maybe try the headset as in the video link. If that also does to work then there may a problem with the device. If it works with the headset, then it must be something between the outputs on the back and the connection to the PC. I am running mine on iOS so would not not much about Windows.

What is the brand and model of your headphone? What did you use? Please

Used a number of them but found the best and easiest one to be the Soundcore Life P2 Mini with the iPhone. Even better than the AirPods Pro. With the iPhone. Tried combinations on iPad and MacBook. Feels like the iPhone processes recording better then the iPad or MacBook and then best with the Soundcore. Odd. Still love the AirPods Pro for everything else.

the USB light, once connected, is it blinking all the time?

Yes, mine blinks all the time. Even when I tested the two mics. Wish it did not do that...

This might be very annoying. I ve checked some other vids with 2x2HR presentations and their devices are not blinking. Usually blinking means something is not right. I would suggest to reinstall/update drivers, try another usb cable, try on different PC, and finally if nothing helps Tascam support (good luck with that though)

@@UnboxingMyBuys The problem with the blinking light is the USB cable. Mine did it with other cables but not heavier gauge USB-C cables. Just some food for thought.
