Nice review Joey. I have the 8MP Tasco cameras and you're right about the single pictures. The 1st shot is crystal clear and the 2nd and 3rd are dark. The camera is possessed (smile). I put them on video record vice single shots and the picture clarity is better. Enjoyed a full watch. Thumbs up.

Yeah, not bad for the money, they work well. But they do not like cheap batteries. I have a video that will be coming out soon showing how i fixed a Tasco camera that quit working on me.

which camera doid you get, the 6mp or the 8mp? these tascos are very finnicky about cheap batteries. So get the name brand and avoid the cheap ones

@@MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors I got the 8mp at Walmart. I also purchased rayovac batteries. As well as ScanDisk SD card dedicated only to this camera because I hear that if you switch cards between different cameras that there could be issues. I tested it out and it seems okay so far. I'm going to leave it out for a few days and going to check on it.

Yep, I do that too. The deer patterns have really changed here. Camera 4 usually has a decent amount of video on it. This time only 2 pics.

They are headed to acorns. Food sources are changing. If you have corn out and they are leaving I am sure for acorns. Give it a couple weeks or a good rain will spoil them. Big bucks should start showing up soon. Good luck!!!

Wow, under 30 bucks , that’s awesome. I’ve always used Cuddebacks with the night time flash cuz I love getting good color pics at night, but at $200 I also have to buy the lockable Bear Boxes to try to keep them from getting stolen when I use them on pubic land sad to say. I’m gonna have to get a few of these and give em a try, the daytime videos you post look pretty good. Thanks for the review

I like them because they take good pics and video and they're inexpensive. If one gets stolen I'm only out 20 -30 dollars and not 130.00 or more. Have a Great day and that ks for watching.

Sorry I missed this reply. For 30.00 it's a great camera. The Tasco does not like cheap batteries. Be sure to use energizer or Duracell batteries. I hope it is working well for you. Oh yeah, I think they discontinued the 6mp. They have 8mp and 10mp now.

I bought 3 -10 mp tasco cameras. Ive ran them since march. The pics worked great but now out of 3 pics, 2 of them are dark then it repeats the cycle. The videos was awful, when I played the videos..half the screen would flash green on an off

I cant say anything about the 10MP, I have not tried it yet. The 2nd and 3rd picture in the burst mode is dark on the 6MP and 8MP. I only use video mode on my Tascos, I have never seen the green flashing on my Tascos but I have seen that on a different camera I own. I am thinking it was the SD card, I just replaced it and will be looking at the video in a few weeks.

It's tough buddy, I worry about it too. Make a camera swivel mount I have a video on how to. And put them above head height about 8 - 10 feet and angle down in the direction you want to film. Also do not put them right on well traveled people paths. I hope this helps

It should do just fine. The trigger speed is a little slow but I have no complaints. It works fine for me.

I have one of these, it goes through setup just fine(in the aim position), then when I switch it to the on position, it does a ten second countdown, and does nothing, like it's dead. Will not take pictures, and has an empty display screen. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. But the troubleshooting page doesn't say anything about this, anyone have any ideas?

How old is the camera? The display screen goes black after the 10 second countdown. The screen on shows anything in the aim position and the 10 second count down. I would try new batteries in it. others have said if the cameras batteries are low it acts funny and does not take full video or pictures. when I first got mine I played around with it in the living room and did not think it was working. But when i checked the sd card there were pictures on the card. Let me know if switching the batteries worked. I only use energizer batteries. i tried the dollar store brand but they did not last long.

@@MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors It was brand new, with new cheap batteries (kodak) and New SD card, so I swapped out the batteries with energizers, and now it works! I appreciate the help and advice! No cheap batteries in the affordable cam! Merry Christmas!
