I’m so happy that you brought this young lady on to share her story. It’s so many people out here that’s living in shame because of this virus. I been hiv poz for 7 years thanks to my ex husband. She really have courage to come out like this publicly . It took me years to tell anyone cause I was so ashamed n felt dirty. I thought I was going to be alone the rest of my life. May God Bless you & continue to heal you. Question I didn't hear asked. In your experience, expertise do you think that the reason her condition spiraled out of control so quickly was because she wasn't getting medical attention for so long? This is definitely a teachable moment that we need to get check ups and stop being to ashamed to go to the hospital if you have been violated. Even if you decide not to press charges its better knowing

More interviews like this to educate and help the community. I was diagnosed with full blown aids back in the early 90's and been undetectable for 17 years straight. Also with 13 T-cells. Imagine that!!! Today I'm healthy and I only take 1pill a combination of 3. There are so many different meds out today and if taken as prescribed she can become undetectable as well. It's not a death sentence today and you can live a healthy and productive life just like thousands of us. I really appreciate her courage to share her story and may God bless her on her journey back to health she will be just fine.🙏🏾 ❤️

I think at the beginning she kind of over talked, I believe it's best to give the guest the floor to interpret their experiences on their on. Some of the questions were very very personal, kind of made me uncomfortable for Gena. However, Tasha is very compassionate. It shows in her facial expressions, although it can be misinterpreted as disgust. I can sense a real genuine concern from Tasha. Compassion is def needed and appreciated on such sensitive subjects. Overall it was a good interview!

My brother died of AIDS in 2014. He contracted it from his fiancé. Unbeknownst to him his fiancé was a thrill seeker(bug catcher turner bug giver ) downlow man who also had a woman fiancé. He infected everyone he came into contact with and eventually died. My brother was young and in love and contracted HIV he was undetectable for years. However we suffered many losses major losses of relatives and he got depressed and stopped taking his medication. Doing that his HIV aggressively progressed to AIDS and he died a short time later. Bc of him I would participate in the NY AIDS walk and volunteer with HYACINTH NJ. Stay prayed up, safe, and take care of yourself everyone and volunteer where you can.

@@ThisEvilBunny: Here's the thing about that. If she did sleep with Nick, that makes it her story as well, to tell and share as she wishes. However, if she signed a NDA she can't speak on it. Honestly though, I think she contracted it through the assaults or the syringes. I believe, that she deep down, she believes that as well and that's truly why she doesn't speak on her and Nick. Besides she said she contacted all her exes and they are clean. For me, I'll take it that Nick was contacted and tested and he's clean as well.
