Taskmaster VR Review - A Lot of Fun But...

They need to add multi player. Each person does the same task, then get to see highlights of everyones task for a good laugh. They each get points based on the shows system.

Having this where you essentially record your tasks for 5 mins, then sit in a lobby and watch all the tasks would be great. Not sure how they’d manage to do that - and if it didn’t auto generate highlights that would be a long game to play. As you say - this looks fine for fans. -but I’ve held off for now. I’ll stick to watching NZ taskmaster and waiting for the new UK series.

Woo that's a clever idea. But yeah it would be hard to pull off. People don't even want to sit through cut scenes and dialogue in video games anymore.

Surely the best way this was ever going to work, was 5 player multiplayer online? Thanks for the review though, I literally bought a Quest 3 for this one game, but I'm not going to rush into it.

I was also hoping for a multiplayer game with physics puzzles and crazy contests.

@@johchadow yeah I caved last night (curiosity got the better of me) and bought it. I haven't played it yet (tonight I will), but my 18 year old did and she said she enjoyed it, but it's glitchy. It adjusted her height automatically a lot, lots looked jagged around the edges and things didn't work as expected. For example, when she was in the greenroom at the start, the door to leave it was closed and she had to restart to get out. Restarted and the door was open from the minute she was in there. She was happy with her 4 points for the first task (from Greg) but was not enjoying task 2 so switched it off until next time. I'm looking forward to my turn because I love taskmaster!

Thanks for the review! I'm a big fan of the show, so will probably pick this up, but I don't really enjoy messing around with like creative modes in games so hopefully it gets more content

The clue for the safe code is inside the watermelon and the code for the chest is on the pieces of the watermelon but only show up in the blacklight.

They need to add swears. The real show has it, why doesn’t the game. It would be so much more funny if they could actually have fun with the comedy in a comedy show.

You say you watched the TV show, then you immediately say that the house is faithfully recreated. Can't take the rest of the review seriously after that, it looks nothing like it. Please take a breath before you do your lines, the amount of pauses about half way through the sentences is hugely offputting.
