When it first came out, I was like "Oh, Desiree did one, huh? I'll watch that later." But she really does provide an excellent and lively commentary in a series that, while always interesting, can be a little sleepy. I'm not interested enough in the tasks to go out of my way to learn about the production process, but Desiree provides some great glimpses into the process. Best one so far, I think.

The rightful winner of Series 12 IMO, nice that she knows that the bell task single-handedly cost her the series. A piece of trivia I enjoy is that if they reworked the task so the score they got for making the necklace is taken into account with the penalty instead of an outright -5, the series would have had a 3-way tie between Desiree, Guz and Morgana.

i guess the Idea was: give a Person an Extra Task where you guess they make something funny out of it, like John Kearns sabotage the Team or the "Make an Outfit out of Stationary" to Tim Vine. But not everything get's the result or is funny in the End, like the Pricetasks from Series 10

The Ballon Popping task needs to be studied as an expert example on the farcical nature of LIFE ITSELF. We will literally do anything to pop the balloon but the most obvious solution and will only resort to it in desperate times. I think the balloon is a metaphor for death I guess.

Oh one is available two days from now, but we just changed the rules and can't take a debit card. I tried Uhaul and Pen ske, nothing. Finally I took my mother's advice and bought a new car.

As an American, sometimes when American comedians are on Brit panel shows, I find them not funny and embarrassing, but I loved Desiree! I thought she was smart and funny, and more than held her own during that series. But, Desiree, I'm very glad that you've learned to ALWAYS TRUST YOUR GUT! I hate when they give the third team player a different task. Look, you designed the show with uneven teams, it's now your responsibility to come up with team tasks that work for teams of different sizes. Though, I didn't mind when they brought on a bonus third player from a previous series to join the team of two. I think that was in the series with Joe Wilkinson. I can't remember if they've done it since or if that was the only time.

In Alex's defence, this was during the social distancing era, but then again they did get relatively close to each other in the 'scale the mountain' team task. But yeah outside of the riddle I've never been a fan of the 'odd man out' kind of team tasks, there was another task in this series where Guz had to lick chocolate buttons or something while the others had to spell out a description of Greg with their body, it was pretty naff and came across as an urgent replacement to a team task that had to be scrapped

I loved everyone from Series 12. Would be great to see other reunions besides the Champion of Champions episodes, including a worst of the worst contest. Crazy how someone as smart as Victoria can solve the escape room by herself but then place a distant last overall in her cohort, with a worse percentage of the maximum possible score than Nish had from Series 5.
