Tasmania trip 2022 Mount Wellington summit on Kawasaki Versys X-300 & Honda CB500X.

On our last day in southern Tasmania, we rode west from our Airbnb toward Hobart. The weather had cleared, no more rain or freezing wind. As we got closer to Hobart, we could clearly see the top of Mount Wellington. This was the first time we had seen the summit since arriving a week before. It didn't take us long to decide that we couldn't miss the opportunity to check out the view and enjoy the ride to the top. Neither of us had admitted it but we would have been disappointed if we hadn't seen this Hobart tourist icon before heading back to the mainland.
