Rugged nature waiting to be explored, Tasmania is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. With incredible mountain ranges, lush rainforests, stunning beaches and a haven for wildlife, Tasmania is a true island of contrasts. Spending twelve days travelling around the state, this is my experience, and one I won't soon forget.

I love visiting Tasmania from across Bass Strait, and this is a stunning tribute. Watching it, you can imagine that early Scottish migrants & settlers would have been reminded of home. Tasmania is a place which you can call 'Heaven on Earth' and it must be protected at all costs 🍎

Stunningly beautiful footage. I've visited Tasmania a few times over the years (from Melbourne) and have loved it each visit. On my last visit, I drove up to the top of Mt Wellington before sunrise on my own, and watched the city lights of Hobart in the darkness, followed by dawn and a beautiful orange glow of the sunrise. Your footage and your story remind me of how magical those moments were to me. Thank you.

Beautiful! Tasmania is kind of similar to Newfoundland Island in Canada where I lived for 1.5 years. The fresh air, the coastal scenery, and the beautiful gorges. It's been a decade since I lived there but it feels sometimes like yesterday.

00:02: Mt Roland (N) 00:07: pumphouse or something, Lake St Clair (NW) 00:18: reminds me of any woodland east 00:20: could be Swan Island (NE) or something on the east coast 00:27: reminds me of forest from the north-south central spine 00:30: could actually be near Roland, like Golden Valley 00:34:- Wineglass Bay, Freycinet (E) 00:38: can't really see in detail, but could be Orford (E) 00:41: maybe Lake St Clair 00:42: not the first time a visitor has said that! I read a blog, someone visiting, and they said, even though they'd no connections, Tasmania just felt like going home. Lots of people consider moving permanently hehe 00:51: reminds me of, either nearby (NW), or even further south 00:59: wombat says...'I could be anywhere', but find every boulder to actually be one on Maria Island 01:00: pademelon. Forest seems more like Mt Field (S) 01:05: felt south, but seems like Mt Roland 01:09: I think these are Acacia dealbata (silver wattle, also the first one used patriotically), which is actually silver due to lichen which you can see; similar thing with blackheart sassafras. Could be Junee area 01:29: over NE. Then makes me think of SW, like Par Avion 01:31: but this could be Furneaux Group (NE) 01:54: reminds me of Skullbone plains or something (NW) 01:59: reminds me of a dam, like Cethana... (NW) 02:02: it's frosty, so, I would think southwest of Mt Roland, but I am getting confused 02:08: Scott's Peak in Lake Pedder, now I can recognise that (SW) 02:11: seems like St Columba falls (NE) 02:17: Bay of Fires? (NE) 02:21: rainforest...which could be anywhere but reminds me of the Tarkine 02:35: Horseshoe Falls, Mt Field (S) 02:40: seen before, but east probably 02:45: Devil's Gullet (NW) or I completely mistook Ben Lomond (NE) 02:49: Pedder to the spires or something (SW) 02:54: Coles Bay area, Freycinet (E) 02:57: reminds me of Lake Plimsoll (W), but could even be Burbury 03:03: stumped, maybe east 03:06: maybe St Clair mtns of Jupiter (NW)
