would be nice to have a video with the differences between the Essential Pack and the Daypack Greetings from Germany

Consider it done. I'll definitely make sure I make a follow up. I have the large Daypack as it's the closest size to the large Essential Pack. Hope everyone is keeping safe and well 👍

@@MoorlanderEDC The bag arrived and it's exactly what I wanted / the sort of quality is was expecting for "rucking", "yomping" or "tabbing" (dependant on your persuasion) healthy brisk walks through the countryside. I understand the tabs are there for an optional 1" hip belt but the extra stabilization that this belt gives is actually not needed when a more unstable load provides for a more challenging upper body workout... Which is essentially what "rucking" is about rather than the more traditional hip carry for hiking longer distances. A 10kg weight plate goes in no problems, I could probably squeeze 4 x 10kgs in there but that would probably test my limits before any other breakages occurred..! I'm totally happy with my purchase, thanks for your reviews..!

Looks like a good slim simple bag without to much over the top organisation. I find many bags half the space is laptop foam and pockets over pockets. Q: that top front slip pocket that goes to the bottom do things bunch up with the bottom slip pocket and get a bit lost ? I would think it might be better if it stops where the bottom starts if you know what i mean , any thoughts ? As a bagaholick I'll take a look at your link . My fav at the moment is a camelbak HAWG 22l very similar style to this . Tks
@MoorlanderEDC4 жыл бұрын
Oh nice. I've been wanting to test out the Hawg here. Stuff can bunch up if you have lose stuff. I've tended to have in there a note pad, a pen and zip pocket pouch. It's stitched into the lining of the front section so you can stack layers of stuff on top of each other so it does help to reduce that bunching. Hope that helps Rob. Thank for watching and the continued support 👍

Hello there, I just discovered your chanel because I was looking for information about this pack. Great video! You said that one could carry a laptop in the L version. What laptop size would fit in there? Mine is 25x37cm (15,6'' display). Are you using the Tasmanian Tiger Modular Laptop Case? Cheers from Belgium and a happy new year!
@MoorlanderEDC4 жыл бұрын
Good morning Hans, I hope you're well and has a great new years celebration last night. My laptop is on the small side. It's 23x32cm. It's a 14" which I doc at work and use two larger monitors. I think a 15 in laptop would fit however I don't have to test out. However this is just the sleeve in the zip panel. You can easily fit a 17" laptop into the main compartment. You've actually reminded me about the Modular Laptop Case. I'll have a word with TT to get one over to me to review. If you're looking to keep your laptop secure inside the laptop case would be the best option. Have an amazing week and here's to a great 2021

Nice! But is there a hole at the top for tube of a hydration bladder like on the Essential Pack?
@MoorlanderEDC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lawrence, sorry if I didn't mention it. That's a pretty school boy error on my part. Yes, there's definitely a bladder hose hole at the top. It's in the middle between the shoulder straps. The hole is a collared opening where the seem is, so it's nice and tough and it's covered to make sure no rain enters when you're not using it. Thanks for watching and commenting buddy

Just one question... at the bottom of each strap webbing there's another plastic eyelet... is it possible to attach a waist belt here..?
@MoorlanderEDC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Andy, yes that's right. There's two 1 inch D ring on the inside of the strap anchors at the bottom of the bag. If you have some 1" webbing, you can run a belt through there... although this would really be to help with stablisation rather than being load bearing. All the best my friend

I was military and I’ll never understand the fascination with tactical products used by civilians. A majority of my peers steer clear of “tacticool” once out of the service. For example, if you CC, why would you want to draw attention to yourself by looking like an operator?
@MoorlanderEDC Жыл бұрын
Hey buddy. How you're well fella. I definitely see what you mean. I think for me it's more about the durability and modularity. Although I'm no Ray Mears, I do like to get out have hard wearing items. Although some companies like Osprey and a few others are using high strength 1000d+ materials, it's mainly military gear. I guess if I dig deeper, there's also a sentimental reason too as I used to walk a lot with my granddad who'd use his old kit too. I'd definitely never rock up with a tactical bag and full fatigues to a family picnic in the park out of fear of stolen valour. Great comment my friend and a very interesting thing to mull over. I hope you're well and safe. Randy
@slashnagy6 Жыл бұрын
@@MoorlanderEDC sorry if my comment came across as mean or rude. I understand what you are saying; sometimes the best really just happens to be designed for a military application. I honestly don’t have an issue with the valor aspect of service. Some of us possess this innate sense of patriotic duty and others, like myself, just see it as a job. No worries though, you have great content. Your vid was recommended for a reason. Keep it up 👍🏼
@Acekorv8 ай бұрын
Personally I’m just tired of buying backpacks that just fall apart within 1-2 years of use. Also the modularity is actually very nice. Because you can customize things the way you want and for your use. It’s the versatility and hopefully longevity of the product I’m after. :) I usually buy this kind of bag in black or grey and I just look like a regular commuter which I am.
@Jesper-bl2nsАй бұрын
@@Acekorv I definitely get that. I've had expensive civilian backpacks fall apart while on a weeks long hike - and it just became a nuisance. For the last three years I have used a tasmanian tiger mission pack with the laser cut, and it holds up through the most extreme treatment. There's litterally no issue with it. It's expensive but completely worth the money. I did make some changes to it. It originally has two large compartments - but I cut out the separator - so now it's one big compartment.
