Great, straightforward, no nonsense review. 👍🏻 Much Appreciated. Would love to see one with your gear load out for a hike just to see what you can fit inside. Viewing from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺

Good review... but was wondering how to fasten saying walking poles to this pack, preferably on one side and in a way that would be quick to get them off and on... could them black tabs with the holes in be used? If so how? Thanks

Hi, I mainly use this pack when i am out with my rifle so don't use poles. But you could easily attach then somewhere.Remember it is a military pack.

Nice products… I have that very same pack and the smaller 20 l one and both are excellent and have served me well!No troubles with zippers or velcros or whatever…! The choice of the 700 cordura seems wise… stronger then 500 but avoiding the weight and stifness of the 1000! I see a problem, (but not for me): this is not the right pack for those folks who bring 3 shovels, 2 axes, 3 saws, tv-set, micro-wave, washing-machine, mother-in-law, inflatable matress, inflatable-doll, billiard table… well, you name it! This is a pack suitable for those who know what they need, and care about mobility. I would never manage to walk a block with some of the 100 pound back-packs I see people showing off (and I doubt they would…). I think those are not wilderness lovers or bushcrafters or preppers…they are just gear-holics. The talk about redundancies and then buy chinese crap that surely will not work or break at the maiden-use…!Keep the good workBlessings

Cheers GAUROCH2. Yep, this is a great day pack size for me, maybe range shooting, wildlife spotting or a day practising skills in the woods. Really liking it. Thanks for watching.

TO: Greetings and thanks! I wonder if it is an american obsession with things…too big and too many…! I would not go far with such equipment as we ususlly see… I often argue with the folks here about that… bringing the car to the bivouac site doesn’t allow to be selective on gear and migh give a false (and dangerous) sense of easiness to the “green-horns” Well, I hope we will never have to face a situation that would differenciate the men from the boys…(and their toys) Keep safe…!
