I am Russian and live near Moscow now. But I was born in Moscow and lived there with my parents when I was a child. When our musicians were on the ship and sailing up or down the Moskva-river I was quite near with my family. But knew nothing about Scorpions. Now I do. I know a lot about them. There are a lot of songs that I love more than this one. But, all the same, "Wind. .."is very close to my heart. It's our history too. Klaus Meine must be an angel to have written such a beautiful song with such deep, meaningful lyrics, a real Hymn of peace. And he even has a beautiful angelic voice where you can feel how he radiates out love. @@johndoew9777 The thing is, we are falling back into those schemes again. My mom was almost completely grown up in Bavaria when the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall fell. She said the very early 90ies were the best years considering politics and overall atmosphere, as the reunion sparked hope in so many people, it was the knowledge that things will become better from there on. Of course, a lot is better now, more rights for more people and so on, but politically, more and more countries here in Europe fall back into more right, left, or extremist schemes, or what we've been told would improve has never actually improved at all. Things are going south
