Maybe you have to slice the cucumbers for the flavors to soak better.

Same thought, especially if your not gonna be leaving it a very long time before eating. For homemade quick pickles slicing always make them taste better

Love the Moccona coffee jar ❤ I've built up quite a collection to use for pickling vegetables and for making salted eggs and pickled hard-boiled eggs too.

Love it! Maybe if you try it again but add more Jeow som or more flavour then it will taste more flavourful. Or if you want to 😊😂you could cut tiny little slits in then pickles and it will help the flavour soak in.

You should try picking onions using this brine, they absorb a ton of flavor!

Let it sit for a week and all the flavour will be in the pickles also keep the pickles outside where is cool and dark not in the fridge

You should really try Indian pickles called achaar. They are really delicious and can be eaten with rice or even used to make curries. Try lemon or mango or green chilli pickles.

Try getting already pickled pickles and putting them in the brine instead of pickling it from scratch. I notice the pickles are able to grip the flavor much better that way and still tastes like pickles lol...if that makes sense.

You should core out the cucumber a bit and stuff some of the chunks in the middle... maybe that will bump up the wow factor

In some Eastern Europe countries the older generation recommends drinking pickled juice for hangovers 😅 Also have you tried pickled apples or watermelons? Very delicious.

Oops A quick pickle won't taste very strong but the longer it soaks the stronger the flavor! Oh and fry the pickles!! Cut into rounds not speers. Make a batter. Dip and fry until desired color!

Either you can slice the cucumbers or if you don’t wanna slice them maybe make some small holes with a toothpick 🤔 well in Turkey when we prepare pickles we make holes and it makes the juice goes into the cucumbers 🤔

Maybe the pickles haven't been in the brine long enough. If it doesn't get better, just use the juice for cooking.

It needs longer to soak into the cucumbers. Maybe poke holes into the cucumbers to let them absorb some pickle juice a bit quicker.

why don’t you save the brine and pickle new cucumbers in it, also add more sauce. maybe then the cucumber will taste more saucy?
