Thanks for the review! I purchased one a month ago and absolutely love it. It gives me more possiblities and diversity with my carnivore diet. I've been exploring the recipes that come with it :)

Thanks for sharing :) I can say the Probe setup for the home made burgers worked so well might need to play more but worth trying Funny as I like both thick burgers like that and the smash burgers that I do on a griddle outside :)

Thank you for this! I will be purchasing. This was the most helpful video I have watched.im still unclear when to use the raised rack instead of put on the bottom rack alone . Also do you use the paper liners for easy clean up ? Does it change the cooking experience for the meat itself?
@MinimalistCarnivore21 күн бұрын
Hello going to do another vid soon so will cover the stainless my idea was about the paper :) great minds think alike :) I take out the thin lower non stick rack and use JUST the stainless one am smiling laughing at the paper liners hahahhaha Kid you not I just got some in YESTERDAY :) hahahahahah amzn.to/4d99mCe The ones I bought and going to test So I will have a answer for you soon hope to test them over the next two weeks I know some do not like having any food touch the non stick :) and clean up that much easier :) while its easy already easier is always better :) and I though it might help keep something between the stainless and the bottom non stick so should not ever scratch The paper instructions says 428 degrees tastee can hit a bit higher but we do not need to go that high but will test for sure I did read you have to have food in with them For me the savings in soap hot water to clean should balance out and of course my time and that NOTHING touching the non stick were my main reasons :) OH again your post made me smile when I read the paper as I was thinking of that today as I tested them in how they fit :)

Thanks Chad, I wish I had more room in my tiny kitchen, . Unfortunately I have to stick with my cast iron pan and stove.
@MinimalistCarnivore5 ай бұрын
Thanks :) Work with what we have but cast iron is awesome I like carbon steel but its about the same and sous vide chuck then finished in a pan is SO SO good reckon it might be one of my favs as that crust a pan can get is like no other :)

Try a flash fry or have it raw, its so much more digestible. Raw pork and beef is pretty common in germany and france. The japanese do raw fish and chicken.
@MinimalistCarnivore5 ай бұрын
thanks :) yeah I like my meat blue normally but OK with just rare also I reckon flash fry is in a pan or something ? for me kinda like doing a sous vide then just making a crust on it with some ghee and tallow or something like that ? I ate mostly raw fish or very quickly cooked so cold inside hot outside in the islands the frozen salmon I do cook a bit more than I would when caught fresh :) but still not to the DONE state many do it I need to get some proper raised pork sometime grass fed or natural fed like we had in the islands from hunting as I never remember the issues I have here back there ? but was not carnivore but did eat a ton of local hunted pig then and was much better as I remember :)
@jasonanthonywilper5 ай бұрын
@@MinimalistCarnivore yes, flash fry is a hot sear for 30 seconds each side. I really love pork! Which islands did you live on? That sounds great!
@MinimalistCarnivore5 ай бұрын
@@jasonanthonywilper Maui and Lanai also Utila for a year (Bay Islands) they ate iguana there :) yeah if good meat the flash would be so awesome and kind of do that a lot we also used to cook fish that way all the time insane hot sear for no more than 30 seconds HUGE blocks of Ahi that way when fresh is OH so good
@jasonanthonywilper5 ай бұрын
@@MinimalistCarnivore awesome! That sounds like a real adventure. I’ll have to try iguana. I hear its a bit like chicken. You eat well then! Greetings from germany

@@jasonanthonywilper Chicken or fish like shark or skate that more fine grain firm feel :) I hear its like alligator which makes sense but less gamey So many critters to try for now my lamb and beef :) and some fish

Taflon...safe air fryer?
@MinimalistCarnivoreАй бұрын
It is teflon inside they do have a rack that is stainless with it that sits higher for meat For sure one of those issues with the teflon for some

Nice video! I never though cooking meat like this way using an air fryer. RealIy impressive by those delicisous meats! Maybe I am going to get one.
@MinimalistCarnivore5 ай бұрын
Thanks :) For me the convenience and quickness and as you saw the lamb comes out great or the dry brine steaks makes it a great tool to have on hand as I do find sometimes doing the grill every day it just does not work out with kids schedules and ours :)
@darabernard31585 күн бұрын
I like a good sear on my steak, but have not been able to achieve it with this air fryer. Have you been able to get a good sear with yours?
@MinimalistCarnivore5 күн бұрын
HI it's tough to do compared with a pan or a grill some have good luck with freezing them and what I do is dry brine all my steaks anyway so that has worked for me I do still prefer grilling of course but this is handy and quick and do lamb chops mostly in them and they kinda react the same I am doing a few more videos with it as I get back to making more vids so will do one focusing on how to get a crust on meat for the dry brine, you need a cooling rack and a sheet pan salt the meat like you would to eat it but do all sides and put it back in the refrigerator for 24 hours if you can flip it halfway through I take out the bottom non-stick rack and then use the metal one so the meat sits higher to the element is why we use those taller ones :) and I do love the probe as I do not need to worry bout overcooking the steak the frozen method is just putting it in when frozen but without the probe, its more guess when its done or put the probe in halfway through I do prefer dry brine steak as it is more flavorful I feel ' let me know if one of those works and I will do a video in October for sure on getting better results with meat thanks :)
@darabernard31585 күн бұрын
@@MinimalistCarnivore thanks for your response! I will experiment as well. Maybe I will sear it and then put it in the air fryer to finish.
@MinimalistCarnivore5 күн бұрын
@@darabernard3158 you are welcome :) I would be curious if you try the dry brining and what you think of the flavor and how it comes out if you do not mind me asking to have ya post back :) just trying to get a better idea of how many like this once they try it :) not related to air fryers sous vide cooking is something I LOVE doing and IMHO if you have a bit of time and want to reheat anything is the superior way to reheat meat :)
@darabernard31585 күн бұрын
@@MinimalistCarnivore I will definitely give dry brining a go! I’ll let you know my results. I am very excited about this air fryer as it is very frustrating to make steaks on carnivore the old-fashioned way, in a cast-iron skillet. The exhaust in my kitchen is not very good so the room ends up, very smoky. Thanks for your suggestion, I’ll let you know!

Hello I know my first sign in was also a bit finicky and cant remember exactly what I did now ? But was one of those arggghhhhh moments But think I did it a few times and then restarted the app And or had to use a password with less than 15 characters if I remember and could not be as complex as my password manager wanted if I remember correct a few things I did you might have to contact them on their site :) support@tastee.net Hope that solves it They seem to be pretty good to respond though Please let me know how if you get ahold of them or have to how they did :) I had one issue with the thermometer not working correct and had to update the firmware but they were very helpful :)
