Good morning, true. Some cultures don't wash chicken/ meats or fish before cooking. We and most Guyanese and Caribbean people would never cook those items without washing with lime/ lemon , salt .. or some use vinegar and dry flour. Its a must!! That's a beautiful curry. The curry is looking extremely delicious. ❤❤❤👍🏽👋✌️💯💯🇬🇾✔️

Yes Racquel. I love all your recipes and will try them. Watching from Trinidad. I make my curried chicken my own way but yours look delicious also. I will try the Jamaican way. Your recipes look very authentically Jamaican more than other Jamaican chefs.

Looks delicious. As Caribbean’s people Trinidadians always wash their chicken with lime vinegar and you can also add some dry flour. It comes out clean and pretty, love, love the color. I also combined the two curry as well great presentation.

Hey, I’m new to the channel. I love your recipe. My mother always made me Curry Chicken growing up. We’re Puerto Rican. You already know how close the Puerto Ricans and Jamaicans are so that goes without saying, but we make a similar dish called Pollo Guisado. It’s pretty much our version of the Chicken Stew. Nonetheless although I love my Guisado I also love me some Jamaican Curry. My mother learned from a Jamaican woman who was a neighbor of ours. My mother picked it up easy since the steps to make Curry Chicken is very similar to our Pollo Guisado. Since I live on my own now I’ve missed this dish. So I saw your channel and I’m in love with this Recipe. Thank you so much ❤️💯🙏🏼
