To anyone curious: I'm a Girl Scout and the real reason the cookies have different names in different places is cause Girl Scouts use 2 different bakeries to make the cookies and the different bakeries call them different things It's also the reason why some places have new/different cookies that other places don't have as both bakeries are required by Girl Scouts to make to make some main cookies (like thin mints, shortbread/trefoils, somas/caramel delights, and I think the 2 peanut butter ones too) but the bakeries can also make other cookies that they decide which is why some places have different cookies but everywhere has thin mints, somas/caramel delights, shortbread/trefoils, tag-a-longs/peanut butter patties, and the peanut butter sandwich/do-si-dos
