Hey Taras, what you bought is just 1 variety of the MRE. They have different menu for the meals. You can refer to the paper which came together in the 2nd meal pack. Also, English is the main language for Singapore!

Singapore is summer all year. If you had the instruction Manuel of the MRE, it states you can put them under the sun or in the engine compartment of the trucks etc to get it heated. The fuel is well if you have loads of time to make it really hot.

the meals are meant to be eaten cold even on the move hence the texture. the fire is meant to cook instant noodles and canned food when situation allow, such as a field camp, training camp etc
