Basically, iirc, the PCE couldn't handle more than one background layer, so the only way they could have a second background layer was if they had one giant BG sprite set behind the initial background and have it scroll a few pixels every frame of camera movement or something like that. (Anyone that knows precisely, please correct me if I'm wrong). I can't think of too many games that attempted something like this, but regardless it was handled pretty poorly for this game.

AllRightsRejected if only they had the 24-bit 330 MEGA MAX power of the the neo-geo then they wouldn’t need backgrounds. It would all be sprites.

First we had the "game end glitch" and now we have the complete game "warpless", good

Jesus Christ almighty. The backgrounds would have looked so much better if they left them static and scroll/repeat with the level.

Needs more Lukifell [sic]. Seriously though, a very nice run of what's arguably the best secondary version of this game available.

this game is way harder than the NES version I could only beat it by using savestates, everytime I failed I had to load the previous state, but at least I can end the nes version on a real console without cheating

Background or not, still looks way better than the nes version.

@goggles789 "All Rights Rejected" told me something like that already ecept it was more detailed. It's not showing in the replies anymore because that was from the old comment system, that reply it's now like a separate comment.
