probably the fact that banana mania looks just a little more flat than this does, i believe. that and i think the backgrounds are less realistic in certain areas

It's kinda crazy when you think about it, but for four consecutive generations, Nintendo was (arguably) known for having the most powerful hardware. Three generations later, they're known for the exact opposite! Obviously this game was not developed by Nintendo, but yeah - just an interesting observation. SMB was always a perfect locked 60 FPS on GC which was impressive to begin with - it's great to see it now rendered in high-res and still holding up extremely well! Great TAS BTW =)

Don't worry, some mad lad will probably port the graphics over in like four or five months. Someone already made a mod to put the old voicepacks in (including the old announcer, which was fired from the job because of him leaking Banana Mania to Nick Robinson)

Could he because it's on emulator. I don't know if TASes use graphical enhancements normally, but that could be possible.

Re-record is every time you have to go back and apply other inputs. Probably they moved a second behind many times.
