Considering that Forces doesn't have as many speed glitches and is overall shorter with less budget and ambition, that makes sense. I still really enjoy both games tbh, but ur comment really makes one appreciate just how good this run is

@@SoniaSpectrum Sonic Forces is pretty garbage. The only good thing that Forces have is updated graphics. Also my point is that a speedrun is longer than a regular game. Believe it or not, but all the modern stages in forces is 15 minutes long! Kinda sad considering that Forces was originally $40!

@@OfficialDiffy I respect your opinion 100%, but for me, I took 4ish hours to beat Forces and about 8 hours for Unleashed. Considering inflation and the fact that Unleashed was 60 at launch, that actually makes sense. I really felt Forces at least tried to be a mini Unleashed with elements of Colors and Generations done better and worse, respectively, and while it is indeed sad that SEGA rushed this, I feel fans wouldn't be as sad if Mania was 40 bucks and Forces was 20.

A single level in Unleashed is longer than all the modern Sonic levels combined! Sonic Unleashed is 3-5 times longer than Forces, you sure you didn’t complete Sonic Unleashed in 12 hours?

Tbh it was skill gap. I realize I may not have made a fair comparison, as Forces was my first 3D Sonic game while I had already become sufficiently skilled at Generations before getting the chance to play through the masterpiece that was Unleashed. The mechanics are basically the same with Unleashed having a much more expansive moveset than Generations, though less polished, so I found it much easier to play Unleashed than if it had been my first game. Also playing Rise of Lyric got me used to the general Werehog button mapping, as they're surprisingly similar in that sense. That's why I didn't really struggle that much. I just replaced Forces though and finished it in about an hour and a half, though I primarily attribute that to the fact that I played a ton of Forces before my latest playthrough and I only just started ramping up my Unleashed tech. Hope this helps!

Never understand why people genuinely don't like this game, I have played it a lot on my ps2 in my childhood but never touched the ps3/xbox version, this looks absolutely incredible and fun to play, I like the idea of having powerups on the world lobby to use it to explore, I hope I can play this someday edit: I finally got to play this version of the game and I'm loving it! it's so much different from the PS2 ver, it's a totally new game! @@Sydney_Angelyt Generations is another story for me, the first time I played, it was amazing but, after replaying it recently, I got a bit annoyed with the automatic sections in a few parts, it happened a few times when I was trying to go a little backward to get a red ring but even if I was pushing the joystick backward sonic was walking forward and the only way to get the ring was dying or restarting the stage, really bored me lol

They haven't survived. Lots, and I mean, LOTS of people (humans) die in the events of Sonic. A huge metropolis being flooded by a god, Eggman blowing an entire Island, an Alien Invasion, an apocalypse in the future and etc. It is clearly stated that people die and that Sonic kills his enemies when its needed, see "What I'm made of" lyrics where it says "Like a million faces I've recognized them all and one by one they've all become a number as they fall In the face of reason I can take no more and one by one they've all become a black mark on the floor". But of course, it isn't given that much attention because it's a rated E game and Sonic has an established image of a character beloved by children. But it's very funny and a little creepy that Sonic looks like he doesn't give a single fuck about people dying lol
