The entry to Crudelo Sphere is honestly fantastic (in a way). The *6 straight seconds* of Mario falling through the entire level from top to bottom, giving you a bird's-eye view of all of the _PAIN_ you're about to be suffering through, all accentuated by the opening organ notes of Ultimate Koopa... Everything just comes together to paint the perfect picture and really drive the despair in deep of the Hell you've just entered.

You’re right, and while we’re on the subject of red coins, I believe Ztar Zanctuary has the most red coins in the game, coming in at 30 reds, even more than the 20 red coins that Crudelo Sphere has. This is from the PC port of this game though, not sure if the OG version is the same.

I think after the behind the scenes of 74EE the creator said he planned for it to be 30 red coins in Ztar Zanctuary but at the time they couldn’t be put in. (Or it was something like that I think)

This rom hack was one of the first ever, with the first "major" romhack with custom levels being the original sm74, and this romhack a year later. The tools are much better nowadays so levels are cleaner and music is better.

I am just blown away that there are some genius Nintendo and Sega and video game fans in general who make hacked versions or remake of these classic games with fan made versions. Most of these people work like pro's and deserve a job working for Nintendo and Sega. It is phenomenal what these other two designers did with Legend of Zelda with the unreal engine 5 remake. Their work is even better then what I saw in Breath of the Wild and phenomenal and amazing.
